£1.99 per document. That is the entire pricing page.

You should not need to compare pricing tiers or calculate whether a monthly plan is worth it just to get a contract signed. Most electronic signature tools make pricing complicated because complicated pricing is how they make money.

Quill has one price: £1.99 per document. You pay at the point of sending via Stripe Checkout. There is no subscription, no credit system, no minimum purchase, and no account balance. If you send one document this year and ten next year, you pay £1.99 and then £19.90. That is it.

What £1.99 includes

Every document you send through Quill includes:

What Quill does not include

There are no templates, no document storage, no bulk sending, and no API. Quill is a single-purpose tool for sending documents for signature. If you need a document management platform, Quill is not the right tool. If you need a document signed, it is. Compared to subscription tools like DocuSign or Adobe Sign, Quill is built for people who sign occasionally rather than daily.

How payment works

When you click “Send” on a document, you are taken to Stripe Checkout. You pay £1.99 by card. Once payment completes, your signers receive their signing links by email. Quill never sees your card details — Stripe handles everything.

Legal validity

Are Quill signatures legally binding?

Quill produces Simple Electronic Signatures (SES), recognised under the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (UK), EU eIDAS Regulation, and the US ESIGN Act. SES are legally valid for the vast majority of commercial contracts and agreements.

Audit trail

Every signed document includes a certificate page recording signer names, emails, timestamps, IP addresses, and consent records.

Tamper evidence

A SHA-256 hash of the completed PDF is computed and stored. Any modification to the document after signing is detectable.

6-year retention

Audit data and signed documents are retained for 6 years, then permanently deleted.

Questions

Frequently asked

How much does Quill cost per document? +
£1.99 per document, charged at the point of sending via Stripe Checkout. The price covers up to 10 signers, full audit trail, and six years of document retention.
Is there a discount for sending multiple documents? +
Not at present. Pricing is flat — every document is £1.99 whether it is your first or your fiftieth. The pay-per-document model is designed to be predictable rather than to reward volume.
What payment methods does Quill accept? +
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe Checkout. We do not store card details on Quill's servers — payment information is handled entirely by Stripe.
Are there refunds if my signers do not complete signing? +
Documents not signed within 30 days expire automatically and are marked as expired in your account. Expired documents are non-refundable, but if you have a genuine billing issue email support@quillsign.app.
Can I cancel a document after sending? +
Yes. You can cancel a document at any time before the last signer completes, from your sender dashboard. Cancelled documents are non-refundable but the audit trail is preserved.
